1. Our Commitment
Tlny Media believes that everyone deserves equal access to information and services online. We are committed to making our website, tlnymedia.co.il, accessible to people with disabilities, and we invest ongoing effort in improving the accessibility and usability of the Site for all visitors, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.
2. Legal Framework and Conformance Standard
This Site strives to comply with:
- The Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013;
- Israeli Standard (IS) 5568 — "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines" — at conformance Level AA, which is based on the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG);
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which also serves as the widely accepted benchmark for website accessibility under the U.S. Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
We aim for full conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the Site.
3. Accessibility Features of This Website
The Site has been designed and built with accessibility in mind, including:
- Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading hierarchy and landmarks;
- Full keyboard navigability, with a visible focus indicator on all interactive elements and a "Skip to main content" link;
- Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images, and descriptive labels for icons and buttons;
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background, in line with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements;
- Clearly labeled forms with visible labels, helpful error messages and keyboard-accessible controls;
- A responsive layout that supports zooming up to 200% and adapts to mobile devices and different screen sizes;
- Support for the operating-system "reduced motion" preference, and the ability to stop animations on the Site;
- Compatibility with common screen readers and assistive technologies on up-to-date browsers.
4. Accessibility Toolbar
An accessibility toolbar is available on every page of the Site via the round accessibility button fixed at the edge of the screen. The toolbar can be operated by mouse, touch or keyboard, and offers the following adjustments:
- Increase / decrease text size — enlarge site text up to 150% of its original size;
- High contrast mode — dark, high-contrast color scheme for improved readability;
- Grayscale mode — removes colors for users with color sensitivity;
- Readable font and spacing — switches to a highly legible font with increased letter and line spacing;
- Highlight links and buttons — underlines and outlines all interactive elements;
- Stop animations — pauses all movement, transitions and animated elements on the Site;
- Large cursor — enlarges the mouse cursor for improved visibility;
- Reading guide — displays a horizontal guide line that follows the cursor to assist reading;
- Reset — restores all settings to their defaults.
Your accessibility preferences are saved on your device and applied automatically on your next visit.
5. Physical Office Accessibility
Our offices are located in the Alon Towers complex at 94 Yigal Alon St., Tel Aviv, Israel. The complex is fully accessible, featuring designated accessible parking spaces in the parking garage, high-speed elevators to all floors, and complete step-free access. Most offices within the complex provide accessible restrooms, assistive devices for the hearing impaired, and personalized accommodations.
Key accessibility features:
- Parking: Dedicated accessible parking spaces are available in the underground parking garage (Alon Towers / Ampa House parking).
- Elevators: Continuous, accessible routes lead from the parking levels directly to the main lobby, with fully accessible elevators serving all floors.
- Accessible restrooms: Fully accessible restrooms are available throughout the buildings. Many offices are located adjacent to these facilities or on floors directly served by the elevators.
